Senior Manager, Product Marketing

focused on driving the product marketing growth strategy and execution for Pikmin Bloom in the United States.
Pikmin Bloom is a geo‑location based mobile game developed by Niantic, launched globally in October 2021, and has grown to millions of users worldwide.
As the marketing lead, you will head a newly formed team and be responsible for all aspects of marketing efforts across the region, collaborating closely with teammates worldwide, especially in Japan.
Responsibilities
Lead go‑to‑market execution for all marketing campaigns for Pikmin Bloom in the US.
Find opportunities for growing user acquisition and revenue and execute data‑driven actions.
Champion new feature launches, define strategy, and execute marketing campaigns in close coordination with cross‑functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, Game Design, Business Development / Partnerships, Operations / Customer Support, Marketing, Communications / Public Relations) and external marketing / PR agencies.
Track and work towards key metrics including consumer awareness, user acquisition, DAU, WAU, ARPU and user retention.
Analyze product and marketing analytics, suggest improvements, and refine strategies.
Manage the marketing budget for the US region.
Conduct ROI analyses on marketing campaigns and apply insights to future programs.
Create impactful fan experiences through real‑world events and digital promotions.
Qualifications
BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of marketing experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer technology products.
Proven track record in developing product positioning strategies that consider market and competitive dynamics.
Experience in paid media campaign strategy, creative development, agency selection, media buying, tracking, and optimization.
Social media marketing expertise and familiarity with community management and engagement strategies.
Ability to lead complex cross‑functional projects with multiple partners and priorities.
Experience leading partnerships, collaborating with business partners and IP holders.
Strong initiative and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for analyzing products, customers, and market dynamics.
Strategic problem‑solving mindset with strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced hybrid environment and handling stress.

An avid player of Niantic games, especially Pikmin Bloom.
International business experience.
Experience as a Product Marketing Manager.
Game industry experience.
Proficiency in Japanese (speaking, writing, reading).

For this role, the annual salary range in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA is $137,700 – $202,000 USD. Employees may also be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
