Position Overview

As a Scheduler you will play a key role in planning and scheduling activities on a variety of Nuclear and DOE projects. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome over a broad range of projects in various stages of development and progress. Your role will be essential to our operations, ensuring that your contributions are valued and impactful within Kiewit Nuclear Solutions Northwest region.

Responsibilities

Work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, sub-contractors, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through detailed design, construction, and start-up operations. Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting. Complete all work in compliance with site specific certified Earned Value Management System. Performs data analysis, identifies problems, and implement recommendations. Obtains required schedule information for all disciplines / functions. Coordinates with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs. Responsible for total integration of schedule activities. Implement change controls process as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or technical training and related experience. A minimum of 7 years of construction scheduling experience. Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software application. Advanced level of proficiency in using software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This role requires a facility-specific clearance that requires U.S Citizenship to obtain.

Preferred Requirements Must demonstrate good interpersonal teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Skilled at presenting schedule briefings to senior leaders. Flexibility to respond to urgent proposal and project requests and changing priorities. Demonstrated skill in identifying and analyzing issues implementing corrective actions.
