Position Description

Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Chaffey College Success Centers. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for the success center instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Any master's degree level discipline in which learning assistance or tutoring is provided at the college where the coordinator is employed; OR
  • A master's degree in education, educational psychology, or instructional psychology, or other master's degree with emphasis in adult learning theory; OR
  • The equivalent; AND
  • Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.

    • Once your completed application and related materials are submitted, your information will be available for review by the District's designated personnel for potential part-time teaching opportunities within the discipline. If you are identified as a potential candidate for an open course, you may be contacted by a District representative.
