Security Officer - Armed Property Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Property Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic commercial real estate location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Friday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential threats.
  • Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other equipment as required for armed security-related duties.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and suspicious activities according to site protocols.
  • Work closely with property management and / or building staff to address security-related concerns specific to a commercial real estate environment.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and / or employees by providing information and directions as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
