Quality Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to ensure our high standards of food safety and quality control. This role involves managing cleanliness standards, overseeing pre-operations team activities, and ensuring smooth production line operations. You will be responsible for conducting walk-through checks in cold storage, performing food safety and HACCP checks, and supporting our food safety program and training initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure cleanliness standards are met from the prior shift at the start of the day.
• Oversee activities of the pre-operations team.
• Monitor swab oversight and assist QA technicians.
• Ensure production lines are running smoothly.
• Conduct walk-through checks in cold storage.
• Perform food safety and HACCP checks and training.
• Participate in morning meetings and long-term projects.
• Support food safety program and training initiatives.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work in a small lab, utilizing sterile techniques and preparing samples for outside labs.
• Perform plating techniques and manage incubators.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
