Job Title
Coordinate work package estimating, technical and quality assurance reviews by other MARMC Departments to provide a complete, definitive work package ready for the contract solicitation processes.
Ensure depot level Work Package development adheres to current business rules; maintenance, modernization and contracting strategies; incorporates lessons learned; and meets planning milestones to support on-time contract solicitation.
Monitor, coordinate, and report advance planning of maintenance and modernization activities to ensure availability planning milestones are met.
Participate in advance planning meetings to include but not limited to : Life Cycle Planning Conference, mid-cycle reviews, IPTD events and scoping conferences, planning induction meetings.
Liaison with customers, planning contractor, Project Teams, and Ship's Force Representatives.
Coordinate with Project Managers to submit depot level Work Packages to the procurement activity for solicitation and assist through solicitation process to award.
Perform Government Availability Planning Manager (GAPM) duties per JFMM Vol VI as assigned.
Assist the Code Manager with fact-finding and critique investigations per MARMCINST 5102.1 series and informal fact-finding investigations for availability planning and execution as assigned.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
