Program Coordinator
You will serve as a Program Coordinator within Naval Systems Management Activity. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
You will represent the organization, as a senior policy advisor, operations and analytical expert.
You will develop and maintain long-term relationships at executive levels with disparate elements of the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Federal Law Enforcement, and other government agencies.
You will prepare and deliver decision briefings and issue papers for executive review at levels up to and including the Secretary of Defense.
You will create and recommend policy positions to the Senior Executive Service Director and senior executives of the Office of the Secretary of Defense program oversight elements.
You will create and recommend policy positions with Department of Defense components to include the Services, Office of the Secretary of Defense staff, The Joint Staff, Combatant Commands and Defense Agencies.
You will conduct Department of Defense-wide and inter-agency liaison and coordination with mission partners and requirements holders in support of program leadership across all mission areas.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-15) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
