Job Description :

The Senior Software Developer provides technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, enhancement, and support of applications, software, or middleware.
This role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, ownership of complex technical solutions, proactive improvement of existing systems, and mentoring of development team members while ensuring adherence to quality, security, and architectural standards.

Responsibilities :

Provide technical leadership in analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of software applications and middleware.

Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Tier III production and integration support issues.

Consult with clients, business analysts, architects, and team members during project planning.

Monitor project milestones, identify schedule risks, and communicate project status to management.

Lead or support technical evaluation and selection of software or middleware tools and support adoption activities.

Estimate work effort, assign tasks, and guide team members when leading projects.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and roadblocks.

Provide buy vs. build analysis and input on solution feasibility, risk, cost, and business impact.

Analyze existing applications to identify weaknesses and recommend process or technical improvements.

Identify, analyze, document, and translate business and system requirements into technical designs.

Recommend procedures and technical approaches considering system capacity, performance, and integration needs.

Design and implement conversions, upgrades, migrations, patches, and certificates.

Develop and maintain software specifications and promote reuse of existing components and data interfaces.

Support architects with solution design, prototyping, and adoption of technologies and standards.

Lead development and modification of software modules and enterprise applications using disciplined development practices.

Develop integrated solutions to modernize and consolidate enterprise applications and services.

Ensure applications, legacy systems, databases, interfaces, and platforms work together to meet evolving requirements.

Enforce technical, architectural, and quality standards through reviews and collaboration with architects.

Provide guidance for unit testing, integration builds, and deployment preparation.

Participate in integration, quality assurance, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.

Document architecture, integration changes, and maintain system and software diagrams.

Ensure applications are production-ready and comply with deployment and configuration standards.

Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Support availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems and services.

Ensure compliance with security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements in all solutions.

Support user, client, and partner engagements, including demos, prototypes, and solution discussions.

Requirement / Must Have :

Strong experience providing technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.

Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex application and integration issues.

Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.

Strong understanding of enterprise application development, integration, and modernization.

Knowledge of security, confidentiality, and integrity requirements for information systems.

Skills :

Software design and development leadership.

Application integration and middleware development.

Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Web development and modern UI / UX concepts.

Testing, deployment, and release management.

Technical documentation and stakeholder communication.

Mentoring and team leadership.

Qualification And Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
