Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Detroit, Michigan.

TRA Respiratory Therapist

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency.

Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians. Expert proficiency level required with the ability to handle complex cases and able to teach and mentor others. Performs all types of Respiratory Care including diagnostic testing, treadmills, complete PFTs, ABG machine maintenance, hemodynamics, special procedures and ENGs.

    • MINIMUM EDUCATION

    Associates Degree from an accredited program in Respiratory Care recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.

    PREFERRED EDUCTION

    Bachelors Degree from a CoARC accredited program

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

    2 years in an Acute Care Setting

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • State License as a Respiratory Therapist
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • ACLS, NRP (Peds Specialty RT) and PALS

    • Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) Job ID #450142. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
