[job_card.job_description]Advanced degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience in the relevant field. 5+ years of professional experience in the domain. Demonstrated experience with evaluation, review, auditing, or supervisory roles OR teaching, mentoring, training, or assessing professional work. Strong understanding of professional boundaries, risk, and compliance considerations. Excellent written communication skills for providing formal feedback. Experience reviewing AI-generated or training data content. Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, or ethical standards in the field. Capability to translate expert knowledge into clear, structured explanations. Adeptness in working with evolving guidelines and iterative feedback cycles. Subject matter expertise Risk awareness and safety judgment Adherence to guidelines Clear and corrective feedback Professional integrity Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards. Consistently apply guidelines across all evaluations. Be open to updating evaluation methodologies as standards evolve. Communicate professionally, unbiased, and respectfully at all times. $70 to $85 per hour, based on expertise and relevance, plus bonuses for significant contributions. Begin with a paid trial period. Paid bi-weekly based on approved and tracked hours. Fully remote and asynchronous, allowing flexibility in working hours and deadlines. Employment type : Contract, with both part-time and full-time options available.
Role Overview
The Teaching Assistant Evaluator plays a crucial role in assessing task submissions that require specialized knowledge in fields such as healthcare, law, education, engineering, finance, and software development. This position focuses on ensuring that content meets compliance guidelines, while also being professionally accurate, realistic, and relevant to industry standards.
As a trusted expert, you will apply formal evaluation criteria alongside your professional judgment, ensuring strict adherence to safety, compliance, and scope boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Review submissions requiring domain-specific expertise.
- Validate factual accuracy, terminology, and real-world applicability within the relevant field.
- Ensure outputs remain within allowable scope and do not provide unsafe, misleading, or non-compliant guidance.
- Evaluate submissions for alignment with professional standards, norms, and best practices.
- Apply platform guidelines consistently, even when they contradict personal preferences or shortcuts.
- Provide clear, educational, and constructive feedback based on guidelines and domain expertise.
- Identify critical errors related to safety, ethics, or potential misuse.
- Escalate ambiguous or high-impact issues as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation of review decisions and rationale.
