Substitute Teacher

District : Marion Community Schools

Pay Rate : $150 per day

Job Description :

Join our team as a Substitute Teacher and be a crucial part of our school's educational mission. When regular teachers are absent, you will step in to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of the daily educational program. This role not only allows you to refine your teaching skills but also provides a unique opportunity to create a positive and enriching learning environment for students. Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Substitute Teacher Permit
  • Criminal History Clearance
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Responsibilities :

  • Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
  • Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
  • Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
  • Perform additional duties as directed by school administration
