Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant needed in Greenville, NC - Locum

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens Cardiovascular Intensive Care opportunity in Greenville, North Carolina. This position offers the chance to join a skilled CVICU team within a leading hospital system, providing high-acuity critical care in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Locum NP / PA - Cardiovascular Intensive Care

Location : Greenville, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities :

Manage high-acuity cardiovascular ICU patients, including post-operative cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac conditions

Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate patient care

Collaborate closely with intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff

Interpret diagnostic studies, order medications, and respond to emergent situations

Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently

Qualifications :

Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Experience in Cardiovascular ICU, Critical Care, or Cardiac Surgery preferred

Active North Carolina license or ability to obtain

Strong critical care, procedural, and clinical decision-making skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
