Volunteer Opportunities In Advance Intensive Physical And Occupational Therapy Program

You are requesting a volunteer experience in our Advance intensive physical and occupational therapy program, housed in our Advance Center in Verona. CI Pediatric Therapy Centers provides collaborative, cutting edge, and family centered pediatric therapy. We are committed to supporting our clients in reaching their full potential, and see volunteers as a valuable support in that journey.

We begin assessing our needs for the next semester 1-2 months prior and accept rolling applications. While we review all applications, volunteer opportunities are limited and we are not able to accommodate all requests. You will receive a response from an Advance team leader following submission of your application.

Strong applicants for this position are motivated self-starters that are ready to jump in and complete a variety of activities. All volunteers are expected to abide by HIPAA regulations, assist in patient sessions, care for the therapy environment (including cleaning/sanitizing treatment areas), and be prepared to have FUN!

Volunteers may be accepted on a rolling schedule based on current needs. Client participants in the Advance program are scheduled daily Monday-Friday for 4 weeks in a morning (8am-12pm) or afternoon (1pm-5pm) time slot. Ideal candidates for this volunteer position will be able to offer availability for a full day (8-10 hours) or one or more half days (4-5 hours) weekly, in alignment with our program time slots. Placement start and end dates may vary, though all volunteers are expected to fulfill a semester-long commitment or longer.

Accepted candidates must complete a 1-hour orientation prior to beginning their volunteer placement. We look forward to meeting you!
