Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Performs work assignments where several of the engineering fields are required to achieve results
• Able to integrate work with other projects and / or existing products
• Advocates for and performs approved methods and practices
• May work with other technical / manufacturing resources to achieve objectives
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred
• 2+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, SW, PSP, SMED, VRK, OEE, TPM, etc.) a plus
• Proven problem solving aptitude using various tools and techniques
• Leadership experience within a team, project, or job
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results
• Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• SolidWorks and / or Pro Engineer (ProE) experience a plus
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required
• Experience working in a metric / goal-driven environment
• Hands-on approach / experience with manufacturing processes preferred
