Based In : Chicago, IL

We're seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects across the Midwest. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Walmart open-store remodels or large-scale retail and distribution center builds, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do :

Lead all on-site construction operations and project schedules

Manage subcontractors, safety compliance, and quality control

Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers

Conduct site inspections and maintain detailed reports

Ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are followed daily

What You'll Need :

5+ years of supervisory experience with a GC or CM firm

Proven success managing Walmart remodel or similar retail projects

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Procore experience a plus)

OSHA 30 certification and valid driver's license required

Willingness to travel frequently
