The Financial Operations Analyst supports the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) by delivering a broad range of financial, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and procurement services under the direction of the Finance Manager. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all fiscal operations and contributes to the development and execution of financial strategies across CTSI's complex portfolio of programs, services, and auxiliary operations.
The Financial Operations Analyst initiates transactions and administers day-to-day fiscal processes; establishes and maintains internal controls and ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures; participates in financial management and strategy implementation; analyzes, reconciles, and interprets financial statements; identifies and resolves discrepancies; ensures proper retention of fiscal records; prepares for and participates in audits of accounts; provides data for financial reports; assists in developing and administering operational and research budgets; provides guidance, problem resolution, policy interpretation, and best practice recommendations; assists CTSI-supported initiatives and collaborators, acting as a resource for financial information, transactions and budgeting; supports onboarding of new staff; other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
