Schedule Details / Additional Information :

Nights, featuring 8 and 12-hour shifts, with a rotation every third weekend and holidays.

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000

Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :

Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Stroke patients in our Comprehensive Stroke Program

High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients along with medical overflow cases

As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , we provide exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

What You'll Do :

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.

Apply clinical judgment, communication skills, and critical thinking for optimal patient outcomes.

Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the care continuum.

Major Responsibilities :

Assess patient needs, planning and implementing individualized interventions, while involving patients and families.

Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Education Required :

Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Experience Required :

Typically, 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :

Ability to provide holistic patient care and view clinical scenarios from a patient-centered perspective.

Confidence and adaptability in response to situational changes.
