Compensation:$100,000 - $375,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Go to in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
- Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services
- Implement and carry out strategies to acquire new clients in your sales territory
- Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM
- Commit to staying updated on all services and products, competition, and market conditions to ensure customer needs are met
- Embody Electrify My Home principles
- Perform virtual assessments and pre-sell prior to performing a home visit
- Keep CRM updated with outreach & project information
- Bring company-provided and self-provided leads from inquiry to sale
- Attend in-person and online events to promote the company
- Confidently speak to large groups
- Provide consultative-based techniques in line with the company's low-pressure sales philosophy
- Stay up-to-date on system performance techniques and products
- Perform site visits and gather data needed for Manual J-load calculations
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred
- You must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Should have working knowledge of a CRM
- To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proven track record of sales experience, 3-5 years
- Applicants must have 3+ years of sales experience
- Applicants must have 3+ years of HVAC design, installation, and/or service experience
- Must be clean-cut with a positive attitude, willing to learn, and be a team player
- Must be exceptionally personable, polite, and an excellent communicator
- Self-driver - must take customers from start to finish
- Knowledge of home energy systems. Electrical, solar, and plumbing experience is a plus
- Must have sufficient experience and understanding of HVAC to provide accurate estimates via a virtual meeting
- Big Plus: $2000 signing bonus available if BPI (Building Performance Institute) or NATE certified
