Job Title : Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working with electrical, welding, or industrial maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should possess experience in wastewater operation or technician work, and have a basic understanding of motors and electrical components. We are looking for someone eager to grow with our company and learn quickly, as they will be trained on the comprehensive maintenance of our bottling plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Operate and maintain wastewater systems.
• Work with blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of conveyor systems and packaging equipment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a plant in Prince Georges County, which is a loud and sometimes dirty environment.

Safety is a priority, requiring all team members to wear hair and beard guards along with steel toe boots at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheverly, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.40 - $35.40 / hr.
