Join our dedicated team in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit-M2, where we prioritize compassionate patient care and collaboration. We are seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse III to work weekend night shifts (24 hours / week). Your contributions will enhance a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues alike.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, initiating IVs, and performing treatments and procedures.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to care.
- Applying sound nursing judgment to manage patient care effectively.
- Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries.
- Administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guiding and directing ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications :
Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred).Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply problem-solving techniques in patient care.Salary Range : $88,192.00 - $136,697.60; Hourly Range : $36.73 - $60.93.
