ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Tech Lead Full Stack Engineer , you will shape the technical direction of a consumer-facing platform, ensuring it scales reliably as the product and community grow. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, influencing architecture, quality, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own critical systems, mentor a growing team, and modernize a complex codebase. It’s a high-impact opportunity in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Architect and code robust, scalable features across frontend and backend;
- Work deeply in an existing web application codebase, enhancing core modules and integrating with a graph database;
- Implement state management with Redux and design performant React components;
- Manage a small but growing team of developers;
- Divide tasks and assign them to individuals;
- Review code;
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams by communicating progress and blockers early and often;
- Maintain high standards for documentation, testing, and code reviews;
- Architect solutions that handle high throughput while maintaining low latency;
- Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability.
MUST HAVES
4+ years of full-stack development experience ;2+ years of team lead or management experience ;Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives;Experience with graph databases (Neptune with Gremlin preferred) ;Experience with web and mobile application technologies including HTML / CSS, React, React Native, TypeScript, Tailwind, Redux, Node.js, and Next.js ;Experience using Git and GitHub ;Proven ability to navigate and improve large, production-scale codebases;Excellent communication and documentation skills in a fast-moving team environment;Strong track record of delivering solutions with high throughput and low latency requirements ;Upper-intermediate English level.NICE TO HAVES
Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS) and CI / CD pipelines;Experience optimizing large-scale frontends for performance and accessibility;Experience with AI frameworks or SDKs;Start-up mindset and comfort with trying new approaches and tackling new challenges.PERKS AND BENEFITS

2+ years of experience in Java (version 11 or higher); Strong knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Core; Experience with SQL and databases such as MongoDB; Expertise in microservices architecture and REST / API-based development; Ability to write unit tests and integration tests for application reliability; Capability to work effectively within a Scrum team and agile environment; Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience; Experience developing applications with complex business logic; Upper-Intermediate English level.
