Job Title : Surgical Technologist (Travel)

Location : Clackamas, OR - 97015

Contract Length : 3 Months + (Strong potential for extension)

Shift : Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts (3 wk rotation schedule.)

Schedule : 11 : 00 AM – 09 : 30 PM | 40 Hours / Week

(Stipends available above 50 miles)

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring surgical environments remain compliant with safety and infection-control standards.
• Anticipate surgeon needs by selecting and passing instruments with accuracy and efficiency during procedures.
• Assist with room setup, surgical equipment checks, and proper positioning of patients.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts in alignment with OR protocols.
• Handle specimens correctly and coordinate with the surgical team for proper labeling and transport.
• Support turnover between cases to keep workflows seamless and on schedule.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately every 3 weeks) to support emergent surgical needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams to drive optimal patient outcomes.
