Position
We are seeking a Systems Administrator for our office in Beaverton, OR . This position will require on-site work and is not considered a remote position.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the health, security, and forward progress of our internal infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will work self-sustained, in a team with other Systems Administrators, and with third-party vendors to resolve highly technical issues involving all aspects of our IT environment. You should be able to demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, systems analysis, and breadth of technology capabilities along with excellent problem-solving skills.
Essential Job Duties
- Setup, administer, and resolve issues with physical and virtual (Hyper-V) servers running Windows 2012 through 2019 (GUI and Core) in clustered and non-clustered environments
- Manage M365 products and services, including Azure AD and Exchange in a hybrid environment
- Manage internal Managed Security Service Provider tickets, including vulnerability hardening, ensuring log collector health, and resolving cybersecurity incidents
- Manage internal Endpoint Protection platform (Palo Alto Cortex XDR), including investigating and resolving cybersecurity incidents, managing endpoint health, and keeping management policies up to date
- Administer third party services and products, including Mimecast and Okta
- Create, modify, and test Group Policy Objects in accordance with company standards
- Manage personal workflow to ensure efficient operations and manage multiple projects
- Write documentation for internal processes and products, as well as generate end-user training and reference material for new processes and products
- Troubleshoot advanced software and hardware issues as they pertain to internal infrastructure
- Troubleshoot Server down issues
- Troubleshoot Hardware / server alerts
- Work issues and projects to completion
- Mentor Tier 1 & 2 internal support
Qualifications
Knowledge and hands-on experience providing administrative support for Windows servers and other mainstream Microsoft applications. This includes Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP / DNS roles, Hyper-V, and SQL.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.4+ years IT work experience.MCSE, MCITP, or other relevant certifications.Benefits
