What You Will Be Doing :

Analyze, record, and maintain premium, loss, and expense data for ceded reinsurance at Shelter Insurance Companies. Support system enhancements, process improvements, and complex reconciliations. Maintain strong knowledge of reinsurance principles, BI tools, and financial systems. Mentor junior staff and collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency.

Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Credit Bureau Report may be ordered on final candidates.

What We're Looking For :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; typically required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Workday, SICS Reinsurance system, and BI reporting tools
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and statistical skills
• Proven attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines while ensuring data integrity
• Ability to follow instructions, accept supervision, and work cooperatively with others
• Typically requires a minimum of two years' experience in the accounting field
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and support junior team members
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
