Intake Specialist

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and documentation in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter referrals and communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities

Supervise team members, lead training sessions, and monitor performance metrics

Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and assist with documentation for the referral process

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred

One year of work-related experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or insurance

Experience in healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or similar environments that bill insurance

For senior and lead levels, additional years of exact job experience are required

Proficiency with computers and healthcare software applications is essential
