Overview

Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design and program control systems for industrial machinery. This role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, customers, and vendors to create high-quality, cost-effective equipment. Adherence to quality and ISO standards is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop control concepts
  • Create bills of material
  • Produce automation programs (PLC, HMI, robotics)
  • Support projects from concept through deployment
  • Lead or support projects within a collaborative team

Qualifications

  • Expertise in electrical systems and codes
  • Strong computer and programming skills (Vision Systems, Robotics, Rockwell Automation PLCs, high-level languages like C# / VB)
  • Knowledge of pneumatic system design
  • IT / OT networking and plant data systems (SQL)
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Experience with CAD electrical drawing tools
  • Technical writing and communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Controls Engineer preferred
