California Licensed Inside Underwriter

A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the underwriting process in compliance with carrier guidelines and company policies

Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority

Negotiate terms and coverages while maintaining relationships with carriers and producers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation

Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products

Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance

Ability to manage the underwriting and brokerage process independently

Strong knowledge of the types of accounts handled by the team
