Cook | Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care | Kingston Care Center of Sylvania, OH

Full-Time or Part-Time | All Shifts Available

From preparing homestyle breakfasts to serving comforting dinners, you’ll create meals that nourish and connect residents in our Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care community.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals that follow resident care plans and dietary guidelines

Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas

Assist with meal planning, portion control, and inventory management

Collaborate with the dietary team on seasonal menus, special meals, and resident requests

Ensure meals are presented well, served on time, and meet quality standards

Help foster a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and families

Qualifications

Prior cooking experience in healthcare, food service, or hospitality preferred

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality

Dependable, resident-focused, and team-oriented personality

Strong communication skills and a passion for cooking with purpose
