Veterinarian - Urgent Care - Dallas

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our dedicated team, ReadiVet, in Uptown Dallas. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality medical care when pets and their families need it most. At ReadiVet’s urgent care, we offer both wellness and non-life-threatening sick care. With a 4-day work week and no overnight shifts, you’ll enjoy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical evaluation, diagnostics, treatment, and minor surgical procedures for urgent and non-life-threatening cases
• Triage patients efficiently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with clinic policies
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in Texas
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred, especially in emergency or urgent care settings
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to high standards of care and continuous learning

Work Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week; 12 PM to 10 PM
• No overnight or on-call shifts
• Rotating weekends may be required

The urgent care team will work in concert with our mobile care teams, focusing on delivering both well care and sick care to our clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
