The role :
SoFi is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team and report to one of our Senior Revenue Managers.
Join Our Mission : As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be a vital part of SoFi's receivables and collection team, collaborating with multiple dynamic teams and contributing to the daily, weekly, and monthly operations of accounts receivables.
What you’ll do :
- Drive accurate and timely invoicing on a monthly basis.
- Ensure the integrity of accounts receivable aging reports and collaborate with business partners on outstanding balances
- Monitoring payments receipts, ensuring payments are applied correctly, and addressing any discrepancies
- Support the monthly and quarterly close process such as preparing journal entries
- Handle customer set up and any billing or payment inquiries
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners in Finance, Operations, and Business Systems to optimize invoicing and collection processes
- Assist in ad-hoc analyses and projects for Accounts Receivable KPIs, providing the accounting team and other key stakeholders with valuable insights
What you’ll need :
Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping2-3+ years of professional experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting / bookkeeping experiencesExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environmentMicrosoft Excel skills and the ability to analyze data setsNice to have :
Experience with WorkDay or other large financial systemsExperience in managing process improvementAssociates degree or equivalent
