JOB SUMMARY

Teach courses in one or more of the following disciplines as assigned by the dean or chair : English, mass communication, studio art, music industry, criminal justice administration, cybersecurity, interdisciplinary studies, and / or political science . Meet with students to provide supplemental instructional support and advising through office hours; engage in professional development, community service, and / or outreach programs; and work collaboratively with colleagues.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Teach 11 or fewer sch per semester (or 6 or fewer sch per summer session).
• Convene in-person or virtual office hours to assist students.
• Contribute to the curriculum development, assessment of student learning outcomes, and co-curricular enhancements in the discipline.
• Engage in scholarship of teaching and learning through professional development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK :

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Requires sedentary work that involves walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling some of the time. Requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force on a recurring basis or routine keyboard operations.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Work environment risks exposure to no known environmental hazards.
