Veterinary Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Claims Processing Specialist who will be responsible for reviewing invoices and pet medical documents to determine coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Review individual policies to make eligibility determinations with high accuracy

Contact internal departments, veterinarians, and clinic staff to ensure compliance with guidelines

Use PC-based programs to enter data, communicate with team members, and issue claim decisions

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of recent clinical veterinary experience as a veterinary assistant, technician, or veterinarian

Knowledge of veterinary terms, medical conditions, and associated treatments

Ability to read and interpret medical records both written and digital

Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
