Top Secret Security Operations Support

This position is located at NAS Lemoore, CA and will support the F-35 security operations. Due to the dynamic environment supporting pilot training the incumbent may be required to support either first or second shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements or attrition. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret / SCI clearance will be required, in the future. Duties will include, but are not limited to : assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry / exit searches; enforce all Department of the Navy policies, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and provide assistance with documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; provide collateral security support; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC), and additional duties as required / assigned.

Basic Qualifications :

• Proficient knowledge of Personnel Security duties in accordance with DoD Manual 5205.07.
• Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from the investigation close date confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Vetting (CV) program.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program access and access to a wide range of specialized networks.
• Works well independently and in group settings.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer interface skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain organized; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
