Job Duties:
- Responsible for greeting patrons.
- Ensure the safety of recreational Pickleball court usage by monitoring safe entry and exit of players, controlling the flow of court rotations, explaining and enforcing Pickleball court etiquette and other posted park rules, monitoring of court reservations and times. Support Pickleball instructors by informing the public of scheduled FHPRD programs and classes.
- Ensure that facility rules and safety standards are followed and assists in emergency situations such as evacuations, medical emergencies, suspicious behavior or activity, etc.
- May perform routine maintenance as necessary, i.e., trash removal, report facility/park maintenance requirements.
- Attend ALL staff meetings, trainings, and orientations.
- Attend work on a regular, reliable and punctual basis; subs for co-workers when available; is responsible for securing substitutes for shifts unable to work.
Work Environment: Requires considerable movement around the facility to monitor activities. Exposure to various temperatures and outdoor conditions.
Experience and Skills
- Must be at least sixteen years of age.
- Must have general knowledge of Pickleball.
- Strong conflict resolution skills preferred
- Experience involving assisting the public preferred.
- Current certifications in AED/CPR and First Aid or the ability to obtain such certifications within sixty days of employment.
