Work Schedule : 36 hours per week, Night Shift
Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document care in compliance with company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and care responses.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in all patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer prescribed medications, including over-the-counter options.
- Collaborate with nursing teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Current Registered Nurse license in NYS.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality concepts and the ability to apply them for quality improvement.Thank you for considering a rewarding career with Albany Medical Center!
