Job Details :

Embark on this exciting locum tenens journey starting January 17, 2024, and enjoy a flexible Day shift schedule of 7x8 hours from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00. This 12-month contract offers a well-structured 7 on 7 off rotation, providing you with 30 days of coverage each month. Collaborate with a supportive team, including NP support from Monday to Friday, ensuring a cohesive and patient-centered care approach.

Work Details :

Your expertise will be vital in managing a consult volume that varies with a patient census averaging 25 patients per day. The patient population consists of adults aged 18 and above, residing in a rural area with a high acuity GI service division and multiple pathologies. As part of the Gastroenterology team, you will be involved in inpatient GI coverage, handling inpatient consultations and procedures. This includes managing one of two teams, with the second team being the GI teaching service. The third position will cover a 7 on, alternating with the current faculty, creating a well-rounded team approach to patient care.

Utilize the Cerner EMR system and showcase your skills in routine GI procedures, including EGD and Colon non-advanced procedures. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to maintaining the high standard of care provided at this facility.

Requirements :

To qualify for this role, you should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology, possess a valid WV license, DEA, and ACLS certification. Minimum experience requirements will be discussed based on individual qualifications.
