Your Role :
As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care through physical and mental assessments, laboratory tests, and therapeutic treatment plans. Your expertise will support patients with a variety of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders. You will also implement crisis intervention strategies and engage in continuous quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age, diagnosis, and developmental needs.Conduct nursing assessments and reassessments per established policies.Provide effective pain management strategies and education for patients and families.Collaborate with families to formulate and implement comprehensive care plans.Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient responses and evaluate effectiveness daily.Document patient interventions and outcomes accurately to meet current standards.Engage in therapeutic relationships with patients focused on their individual needs and objectives.Perform crisis intervention and maintain safety through verbal and physical de-escalation methods.Support interdisciplinary collaboration for comprehensive patient care.Enhance patient safety through adherence to care standards and protocols.Serve as an advocate for patients and families, providing support and education.Foster an environment that promotes safety, quality, and respect.Mentor and orient new staff and volunteers to maintain high standards of care.Demonstrate adaptability and organization in high-pressure situations.Join Us!
