Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 Travel Nursing Job Details Position Title : Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (LDRP) Location : Mooresville, NC 28117 - North Carolina healthcare jobs Assignment Start Date : October 20, 2025 Assignment End Date : January 17, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Work 75% of holidays Scrub Color : Navy Blue or hospital-issued Parking : Free onsite parking Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - North Carolina or compact state Minimum 18 months of recent LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) RN experience Current BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certifications required Proficient in all aspects of LDRP patient care, including circulating C-sections, newborn care (heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring), lactation support, postpartum care, and newborn resuscitation Experience with EPIC EMR and standard Labor & Delivery equipment Ability to float to other regional healthcare facilities as needed First-time travel nurses not accepted Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Circulate and assist in C-section procedures as part of the clinical team Provide newborn care, including resuscitation and routine testing Support mothers with lactation and postpartum needs Collaborate with OB physicians, pediatricians, case managers, and support staff Utilize bedside fetal monitoring and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR Float to other regional healthcare facilities as required, within RN scope of practice Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical training Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Mooresville, North Carolina!
