The Department of Transportation Engineering District 6-3 is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Highway Foreman 2 position. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will oversee the activities of a general highway maintenance team engaged in manual labor and the operation of heavy machinery to conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on or near designated highways. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive year-round planning, execution, and completion of all stages of various projects or assignments. This includes ensuring that the crew adheres to safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and effectively coordinating with other departments to optimize workflow and project outcomes. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a productive work environment while ensuring that all maintenance operations meet established standards and timelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
Summer Hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
