Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Established organization is seeking a Warehouse Manager on a temp to hire basis int he greater Pasadena, CA area. Pay rate: $30-40/hr DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and staff management
• Ensure efficient inventory control and accurate record-keeping
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping and receiving
• Optimize warehouse layout for improved efficiency
• Manage scheduling and workflow to meet productivity targets
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and development
• Monitor equipment maintenance and inventory levels
• Analyze performance metrics and report on warehouse operations
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Several years in warehouse operations or logistics management
• Proven team management skills
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations
• Capability to handle physical demands
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CPIM, OSHA)
