PASRR Independent Contractor

This a contractual position with Ascend Behavioral Health and Counseling Service to complete Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) Level II assessments within Indiana. Ascend Behavioral Health & Counseling Services, LLC. serves as a subcontractor with Maximus.

Information for assessment completion is obtained by going onsite to conduct an interview with the individual and staff. You will be provided electronic access to collateral documents. This process can take on average 2.5 to 3hrs total to complete. However, average face to face onsite time is approximately 1 hour with remaining time spent in the convenience of your home.

Details concerning the position and assessments

  • We currently utilize a 15-page electronic assessment tool
  • You would have 48hrs to complete each assessment.
  • Web-based training and Quality Initiatives are provided by Maximus.
  • Reimbursement rate for your service is all inclusive with rates as follows :

Bachelor- $90 per assessment

Master and LSW - $100 per assessment

Clinical license or RN-$110 per assessment

(Travel Incentives are provided for 61+ minute commute)

  • Potential earnings up to 1,000 per week with completion of 10 assessments per week
  • Excellent supplemental income

    • Qualifications :

    Intellectual Delay, Developmental Delay or Related Condition (ID / DD / RC) Assessments

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with ID / DD / RC population

    • Mental Illness assessments (MI)

  • Master’s degree
  • . 3+ years working with individuals who have a mental health diagnosis
  • Indiana Clinical licenses (LSW, LCSW, LMHC, RN)- not required

    • Restrictions

    Applicants cannot currently be employed or affiliated with the following :

  • Rehabilitation hospitals
  • Short-term or Long-term facilities
  • Nursing Facilities
  • Community based nursing facilities or services (i.e., visiting nurses, home health care)
