Are you an experienced Paralegal with a passion for supporting attorneys involved in high stakes litigation? As a Litigation Paralegal with this growing mid-sized law firm, you will assist attorneys throughout the entire litigation life cycle, with a specific focus on performing expert cite-checking for their busy appellate practice. Our client is seeking a precise and dedicated Paralegal who is highly collaborative, operates with professionalism, and is eager to contribute to intricate cases spanning multiple industries and jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities :

  • Thoroughly review all citations for various legal documents to confirm accuracy of relevant details such as names, quotations, and prior procedural history.
  • Ensure citations are consistent and compliant with applicable Bluebook and court rules and regulations.
  • Manage an organized tracking system for documenting citation verification across multiple cases, keeping all information easily accessible.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with preparing and filing case documents.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of legal citation rules, formats, and guidelines across multiple jurisdictions and court systems.

    • What Were Looking For :

  • Experienced. You currently hold a bachelors degree or paralegal certificate and at least three (3) or more years of previous litigation paralegal experience. Non-practicing law school graduates who are excited about doing substantive paralegal work are also encouraged to apply.
  • Diligent with details. You take pride in your meticulous approach to tasks and are committed to producing high quality, accurate work. The smallest details do not go unnoticed.
  • Technologically skilled. You are digitally adept and can operate across a variety of software systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Westlaw KeyCite.
  • Self-starter. You are proactive and can work independently to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
