Mechanical Designer- Romeoville, IL

Job Description

In need of a Mechanical Designer to join their Automation and Application Tooling group. This is a contract role set to last 3 months based on the workload, with the possibility for extension if new projects become available in the meantime.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Project Engineers to support design and drafting work on projects they are tied to.
  • Primary focus will be on tooling design, but also support different components when needed.
  • All design / drafting work will be for custom automated equipment- mainly assembly or packaging equipment

Additional Skills

  • No degree require, an Associates in CAD is preferred
  • SolidWorks experience
  • 5+ years of design / drafting experience, including automated equipment and / or tooling

    This is a Contract position based out of Romeoville, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00 / hr.
