Criminal Defense Attorney - Former Prosecutor Preferred

Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is seeking a highly skilled Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team and provide exceptional legal services to our diverse client base. The ideal candidate is a former prosecutor with substantial jury trial experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and is committed to long-term growth within our firm.

You will work closely with senior partners, staff, and clients to develop case strategies, advocate in court, and ensure the highest standard of representation. If you are a strong legal writer, confident in the courtroom, and capable of managing a demanding caseload with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you!

Compensation :

$105,000 - $115,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
• Develop comprehensive defense strategies tailored to each client's unique situation, leveraging your experience as a former prosecutor.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Collaborate with senior partners and legal staff to refine case strategies and ensure alignment with firm objectives.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals, with precision and attention to detail.
• Advocate passionately for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments effectively to achieve favorable outcomes.
