Customer Service Operations Representative

Customer Service is responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution.

Job Summary : The Representative II, Customer Service Operations processes orders for distribution centers and other internal customers in accordance with scheduling, demand planning and inventory. The Representative II administers orders in internal systems and responds to customer questions, clearly communicating delays, issues and resolutions. This job also processes non-routine orders, such as product samples, and ensures that special requirements are included in an order.

Responsibilities

  • Offer professional and timely service as a representative of Cardinal Health at-Home
  • Support an inbound call queue, providing assistance in placing orders, searching products, processing returns, responding to order inquiries, providing delivery updates, and answering questions
  • Process orders for distribution centers and internal customers in accordance to scheduling, demand planning and inventory
  • Provide problem resolution for order issues in a timely manner including delays
  • Process non-routine orders such as product samples that have special requirements
  • Multitask in a fast paced environment

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in Customer Service preferred
  • Prior computer experience using Microsoft Office systems
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for healthcare
  • What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
  • Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
  • Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
  • Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
  • Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Anticipated hourly range : $15.70 per hour to $22.50 per hour
