Machine Operator | 3rd Shift

Overview

We are seeking an experience Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in operating semi-automated assembly line machinery. You will be responsible for fabricating, manufacturing, assembling, and moving products while ensuring adherence to product specifications. This position requires precision and attention to detail in reading and following work instructions, diagnosing and troubleshooting machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The typical schedule will be Sunday - Thursday 10 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate semi-automated assembly line equipment.

Perform basic hand assembly of small plastic components.

Read and follow work instructions and product specifications.

Inspect and pack finished products to meet quality standards.

Make machine adjustments to ensure smooth operation.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

Experience in crimping, drilling, and machine operating.

Ability to read blueprints and follow assembly instructions.

Proficiency in soldering, wiring, and electrical assembly.

Experience using power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, lean manufacturing environment within our climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized facility. The building is divided into departments, and candidates will work in the Cable Solutions department. You will have a dedicated station or rotate stations as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
