Full-Time Certified Surgical Scrub Tech

Are you a skilled Certified Surgical Tech looking for a rewarding career opportunity?   bon Secours Surgery Center at Virginia Beach is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the role of a Part-Time Certified Surgical Tech.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing the operating room for surgeries.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures.
  • Maintain and manage surgical instruments and equipment.

    Required Skills

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Surgical Tech certification, CST, required.
  • Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
  • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

    • Required Experience

    Certified Surgical Technologist

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
