Director of Product

We're looking for a strategic, experienced, and hands-on Director of Product to lead product development across multiple core areas of Topsort's offering, from foundational APIs and auction infrastructure to optimization tools and customer-facing interfaces.

As a senior leader in the product organization, you'll define and drive product strategy at a company-wide level. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, customer success, and marketing to ensure we're solving the right problems, delivering scalable solutions, and creating products that drive meaningful value for our customers.

This is a high-impact, collaborative role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives in technical settings, brings clarity to complex challenges, and wants to shape the future of retail media infrastructure.

You will :

  • Embrace the "sports team" mentality of Topsortcollaborate across product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams globally to drive alignment, unblock execution, and support scalable, sustainable growth.
  • Lead the strategy, vision, and roadmap across multiple product areas, ensuring Topsort's solutions are technically robust, customer-centric, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop deep domain expertise in retail media and ad techunderstanding the nuances of auctions, APIs, data flows, and platform extensibility to inform product direction.
  • Drive creative, high-leverage solutions to complex product challengesbalancing technical constraints, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Lead discovery efforts across customers and internal teams to uncover pain points, validate hypotheses, and define product strategy based on insight and data.
  • Partner closely with engineering to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across the product development lifecycle.
  • Shape product rollout and adoption strategy in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer successensuring successful launches and strong customer impact.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate product success, iterate based on outcomes, and guide long-term investment decisions.
  • Mentor and guide other product managers, and contribute to building a high-performing, fast-moving product organization.

What (we think) you need to be successful - we're open to not checking all the boxes and be proven wrong by outlier candidates as well!

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong technical acumen is a mustwhether developed through formal education, prior roles, or hands-on projects.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including leadership over complex, cross-functional initiatives. Experience in B2B SaaS, ad tech, or eCommerce infrastructure is especially valuable.
  • Experience working on APIs, platforms, or integration-heavy products is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to drive strategy and execution across teamsengineering, design, and go-to-marketwhile maintaining a strong customer lens.
  • Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills : you can navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and unlock value in complex technical and business landscapes.
  • Excellent communicator : able to represent the product clearly and confidently to both internal and external audiences, including executive stakeholders and customers.
  • Deeply customer-focused : you seek to understand pain points, build trust, and translate insight into product direction and execution.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environmentsable to adapt quickly while keeping teams focused on outcomes.
