Position Overview :

Optigy is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join a high-volume, fully staffed Emergency Department in Waco, TX. Located on a comprehensive medical campus and serving as a certified stroke and chest pain center, this ED offers excellent specialty backup, supportive leadership, and a strong APP team. This is a W-2 employed position offering long-term stability and lifestyle balance in a growing Texas community.

Emergency Department :

ED Volume : 54,000 annual visits

ED Beds : 51

Patients per Hour : 2

Admission Rate : 18%

Coverage Model : 10-hour shifts with 5060 hours of physician coverage and 3040 hours of NP / PA coverage per day

Designations : Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center

EMR : Epic

Qualifications :

o BC / BP in Emergency Medicine

Compensation :

Base Compensation : $255 / hr

Sign-On Bonus : $60,000

CME / BEA : Annual allowance
