Our Surgical Scheduling Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to a team of four surgical coordinators while maintaining direct responsibility for complex orthopaedic surgical cases. This position ensures efficient departmental operations, staff development, and quality assurance across all practice locations. The Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between physicians, surgical facilities, insurance providers, and patients, ensuring optimal coordination of surgical services and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Minimum 4-5 years of surgical scheduling experience in a medical office setting
• At least 2 years of experience in orthopaedic surgical coordination is mandatory
• Prior supervisory or lead coordination experience preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance authorization processes, peer-to-peer reviews, and appeals procedures
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and medical practice management software
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, and patients
• High school diploma or GED required; college education or trade school preferred

Preferred Qualifications :

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to include the salary range for this role. The hiring range for this role is $26-30 hourly. The range for this role is typically determined by several factors, including the geography in which the selected candidate will be working, and alignment with qualifications and experience. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation (bonus, etc.) and / or benefits. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, vison and retirement plan.
